We are working on your memories
Jordan is a land where ancient history meets desert luxury. Over eleven days we'll drive rented 4x4 vehicles from the Roman ruins of Jerash, through the salty waters of the Dead Sea and Mujib Canyon, all the way to the rock-carved city of Petra and the moon-like landscapes of Wadi Rum. We'll stay in four-star hotels, a beachfront resort in Aqaba, and luxurious Bedouin-style glamping under the stars. This trip is for those who want to combine off-road adventure with genuine comfort.

Prowadzący wyprawę:
Arrival in Amman and vehicle pick-up
We land in Amman, and after transferring to the hotel there's time to rest and take in first impressions of the Jordanian capital. We pick up our rented off-road vehicles and get to know the rest of the group over a welcome dinner.
Roman Jerash and the mosaics of Mount Nebo
We explore Jerash - one of the best-preserved Roman sites in the Middle East, visit a private collection of royal cars, and admire ancient mosaics on Mount Nebo, with views over the Jordan Rift Valley.
Dead Sea and Mujib Canyon
A day of water - we float in the dense, salty waters of the Dead Sea, then rinse off with a canyoning walk through colourful rock formations in Mujib Canyon. Overnight at a hotel with a hot pool right by the shore.
The King's Highway and Dana Reserve
We drive the scenic King's Highway to the Dana Nature Reserve for a short trek among fantastically shaped rock formations. In the evening we reach Wadi Musa for an overnight stay in Bedouin-style tents.
A full day in Petra
We dedicate the whole day to Petra - the rock-carved city of the Nabataeans. We explore its corners one by one, from the Treasury to the Monastery, feeling like we've stepped into a real adventure film.
Jordan Rift Valley panorama and Aqaba on the Red Sea
A scenic route takes us back toward the coast, to the seaside city of Aqaba. After lunch and some shopping in town, we check in at a luxury hotel with a private beach on the Red Sea.
Yacht cruise and snorkelling in the Gulf of Aqaba
We spend the morning relaxing on the beach. In the afternoon we sail out on a yacht for snorkelling (diving is available for those interested) among the reefs of the Gulf of Aqaba, and watch the sunset over dinner on deck.
Entering the Wadi Rum desert
We head deep into the Wadi Rum desert - a land of massive rock formations rising from colourful sand. We spend the night in a high-end Bedouin-style glamp under a starry sky.
Viewpoints and the red dunes
We climb to a viewpoint with an almost bird's-eye view over the desert. We visit the red dunes near the Saudi Arabian border and spend the night at another of the region's finest glamps.

Bedouin cuisine in its purest form - simple, hearty dishes served with the hospitality this region is famous for.
Jordan's national dish - lamb slow-cooked in a fermented dried yogurt sauce (jameed), served over rice with toasted almonds and pine nuts. Traditionally eaten together, by hand.
Crispy chickpea fritters served with creamy hummus, pita bread and pickled vegetables - a staple of local breakfasts and quick meals on the street.
Black tea brewed with desert sage leaves - a bittersweet, refreshing drink that accompanies every Bedouin visit and every stop along the road.
